

Tourist Ali is a young boy who loves travelling and learning new things. He wonders about festivals which take place in his country (Türkiye) and Poland.
He decides to go to festivals which take place in seven regions of Türkiye and Poland. During his visit he learns different cultures and has experience about the festivals.

Ali would like to start his trip in the Eastern Anatolia region. There are many places to visit here. First he goes to Muş. He attends the Malazgirt Festival. The festival celebrates the first arrival of the Turks in Anatolia.





After the festival in Muş, he wants to go to the apricot festival in Malatya, where he eats delicious apricot fruit and apricot kernels, attends concerts, listens to music and dances.



The pearl mullet festival, one of the most interesting festivals of the Eastern Anatolia, is his last stop. Here Ali witnesses the pearl mullets swimming by jumping against the water flow. He attends concerts and eats delicious food.

PIGEON FESTIVAL MARDIN

Ali have heard a lot about the famous Mardin Pigeon Festival, and he is excited to finally attend. As he makes his way through the historic streets of Mardin, he can see pigeons flying overhead. He starts to watch the pigeon competitions, one of the most important events of this festival.
When, in the evening, a very tired and satisfied Ali returns to the hotel with a beautiful bouquet of flowers, he decides that he will come again next year for this festival.

DAFFODIL FESTIVAL
One day when Ali is in Turkey and sees an advert for the Daffodil Festivals in Cizre, he decides to go for it. He sees a lot of daffodils in different shapes and colours. There is also a flower exhibition, handicraft shows, competitions for the most beautiful flower compositions, flower arranging workshops and dances.
Later he goes to the festival of narcissus flowers, and in this festival he visits the world of narcissus flowers. It is an unfrogettable experience for him.
KAMAN WALNUT FESTIVAL




Ali wants to have a long holiday this summer and his next stop is the Central Anatolia region of Turkey. he wants to visit some cities here. He wants to have some fun while travelling and taste new things. Ali goes to Kırşehir to join Kaman Walnut Festival. He also wants to taste walnut and products made of walnut. He has fun in concerts and watches dance shows in the evenings.

SEB-I ARUS DAY KONYA



After the celebrations , Ali set out for his new stop . Ali's next stop was Konya , where the Mevlana tomb is located . Ali learned a lot about Mevlana there and was very surprised while wandering around because people were spinning with a song to commemorate Mevlana . Another thing that surprised Ali was Mevlana's words "Every ending is a beginning. ".
ANTALYA GOLDEN ORANGE FILM FESTIVAL



Then he goes to the Mediterranean Region. He arrives in Antalya and joins Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival. He sees actors, actresses, world famous directors and filmmakers. He joins concerts at the opening and closing ceremonies. He has so much fun in the festival.
ANTALYA-KUMLUCA AGRICULTURE AND GREENHOUSE FESTIVAL


His next festival is Kumluca Agriculture and Greenhouse Festival. He joins the festival and listens to music and dance. He eats the natural and local food of Kumluca. He eats the most delicious oranges in the world. He has a lot of fun in Kumluca.
BURDUR-ALTINYAYLA(DİRMİL) GOLDEN SİPSİ, OIL WRESTLING COMPETITIONS, CULTIVATED MUSHROOMS, CULTURE AND ART FESTIVAL



Ali is in Burdur for Altınyayla (Dirmil) Festival. He joins concerts and learns about Turkish folk music instrument sipsi. He likes oil wrestling competitions. He eats cultivated mushrooms. He has a great time in Burdur- Altınyayla (Dirmil) Festival.

Christmas and Easter in Poland
Ali has a Polish friend who studies at the university in Turkiye. Ali visits his Polish friend in Poland in December. Ali's friend's family prepare Christmas special supper which consist of 12 dishes. He learns about Polish traditions at Christmas.
In spring Ali celebrates Easter with his Polish friend. He sees people who prepares Easter basket. On Easter Sunday Ali and his Polish friends eat food from the Easter basket during breakfast. Ali tries żurek and white sausages which are delicious.
Open Hair Festival

In summer Ali visits Sieradz. There, he participates in Open Hair Festival. He admires various hairstyles, learns about Antoni Cierplikowski and listens great music during many concerts.


Battle of the Warta River
In September Ali and his Polish friends go to the Battle of the Warta River that commemorates an important historical battle. It takes place near the Warta River.
Ali comes to the festival to learn about the history of the battle and see reenactments of the fighting. Ali also experinces food stalls, music, and other activities to enjoy. The festival is a chance for Ali to remember an important part of history. It's a fun and educational event for Ali. He is amazed and he will never forget it.
