   The Mysterious Gold Crystal

Oliver lives with his parents in a town near a forest. He is 11 years old and is the only child of his family.

On weekdays he goes to school through the forest on foot. He likes to examine mushrooms and insects in the forest, so he bought a magnifying glass. One day he sees a deep blue mushroom on the side of the road in the forest and he wants to take a closer look. When he brings the magnifying glass closer, he sees a little fairy sitting on it.

Oliver asks the fairy, "What’s your name?" 

"My name is Flora", she answers.

"Why are you crying?" Oliver asks Flora.

"My mum, Sunflower, the queen of the reign of Arcadia, is in danger!. Follow me, I will take you to the Arcadia castle and my mum will explain it to you."

Flora takes Oliver to the Arcadia castle. The place is amazing: it is very colourful and full of nature! There are violets, daisies, tulipans and daffodils. 

When Oliver walks past them, they open and fairies blossom from the flowers like they're greeting Oliver. 

Oliver is overwhelmed by a feeling of peace and joy.

The queen tells Oliver that the reign of Arcadia is in danger because its power is disappearing and it will be defeated by the terrible reign of Darkadia , the reign of the Darkness.  

Both reigns, Arcadia and Darkadia are looking for the "Gold Crystal", that will give an endless power to who finds it.

This gold crystal is hidden in the human world and only Oliver can find it and help the fairies.

Oliver is very impressed by the Queen’s words, Oliver knows he has to do something to help Flora and the inhabitants of Arcadia, so he proudly says "I,ll be happy to help you! I’m going to search the Gold Crystal and bring it back to you!"

The Queen gives him a pair of binoculars to find the “ Gold Crystal”. 

These binoculars will help him to see far away, underground and even at the bottom of the sea. 

Time is running out, so Oliver and Flora  begin  a journey to the human world in search of the precious “ Gold Crystal”. 

Flora can’t do anything, but she gives him indications where to look or where it could be. Next day Oliver goes up a hill near his house. He starts to examine the surroundings with his binoculars. 

After many hours of searching, Oliver finds the Gold Crystal. It is in an extremely tall tree, that he barely manages to climb.

There is  a little man with a rod in his hand, who defends the crystal. 

"Please,let me take the crystal, I would do anything to get it!" says Flora, who is in Oliver’s hands.

"Ok, I will give it to you if you bring me 5 magical flowers, a new rod and a magical dog!" 

Flora opens a portal to Arcadia Castle and let the boy behind. He waits  for many hours for Flora to come, but it seemed that she is not coming anymore.

As soon as Flora enters the portal, she rushes to her Queen mum to tell her about the demands from the guard of the Gold Crystal. The Queen suggests going to the magic forest to get the free flowers as all the flowers in her Kingdom are homes of the fairies and the Queen would never leave them homeless. So Flora and the Queen fly to the Magic Forest.

 There they meet an old ranger who welcomes them and take them to the Shiny Valley. 

The Queen stands in the middle of the valley and makes a spell. Suddenly beautiful flowers start to grow and blossom from the ground. They are different colours: pink, blue, yellow, green and purple. Then, the ranger makes a new rod for them. “ Now, we only need a magic dog. Where can we find it? “ said Flora. “ We have no dogs in our Kingdom” said the Queen.

The ranger tells them to follow him. After walking a couple of hours, they come across a lake where a magic dog is drinking water. They follow the dog and come to a cave with some magic puppies inside. They urge the dog to give them one puppy. So the dog gives them one puppy but asks them to call it Miracle.

The Queen blesses Flora, gives her the flowers,  the rod  and the puppy, and finally she opens the portal.

 In a moment of silence, Oliver  suddenly hears a strange sound and behind him the  portal opens. It is Flora, which has behind her all the things that the little man asked for. They make the exchange, and after that, they return to the castle.

The queen and the inhabitants of Arcadia thank Oliver with a special gift - a watch containing a magnificent gem filled with magical energy.

Despite the joy he feels with the fairies, Oliver can’t  help but wonders about his family. He misses them so much and decides to go back home. 

That night, as he lays in his bed, he realizes he is not the same person. He feels braver and more confident. With that he smiles  and falls into a peaceful sleep, ready to see what the future holds for him

        Exploring The World of 

               Harry Potter

Alp, Mina, Hira, Ebrar ,Ecrin A, Victoria, Alexandra, Mira and Arzu, Demirhan, Ada, Zeynep Beren, Eymen, Miraç  

Adam is 11 years old and a sixth grade student. He is the only child of his family.

He has a secret that only he knows. Adam moves the items without touching them.He first noticed this when he was six years old.He wants to meet special people like himself.He would love to meet Harry Potter because Harry Potter is his favorite character.

One day he goes to a museum. There are statues of magical characters in the museum.He goes left and right in the museum. He wants to see all the characters. Then he sees where the Harry Potter statues are and goes next to them. There is an arm next to the statue.He pulls the arm and suddenly his memories came to his mind.

His first experience was when he was in his room ,cleaning and suddenly the broom started sweeping by itself.He got scared and the broom fell down then he noticed that he could move things without using his hands ,like the TV and his favorite Harry Potter books.His parents never noticed that Adam could do such things. Until one day, when he was in the kitchen and wanted to help his mother cook. He wanted to take carrots for the soup. Without coming closer, the carrot came closer to his hand.

Memories were racing through his mind, but he was still holding Harry Potter's arm. Adam who was transported to a different world was afraid at first but he was fasciated by the beauty of the place he was in there was a huge rainbow around him, a deep blue sea and a warm sun the man who took care to enjoy the moment continued to have fun.

He was holding a mirror in his hand. When he looked into the mirror, he found the image of his head bigger than normal, the middle part of his body of the same size and he was wearing a pair of glasses with a metal frame and round lenses. Oh, no! He had turned into Harry Potter. He was standing near a signpost pointing to important wizarding locations such as Hogwarts, Diagon Alley, the Ministry of Magic and Kings Cross Station.

After a short hesitation he decided to follow the path to Hogwarts. He walked towards the northern part of the Hogwarts grounds and saw a garden behind the castle. The glass door of the garden opened by itself unexpectedly. Adam (so-called Harry Potter) stepped into a greenhouse, just like a Hogwarts student, where Professor Sprout taught Herbology three times a week. 

He learned how to take care of all the strange plants and fungi, and found out what they were used for. Professor Sprout said, “Mandrake is a powerful restorative. It is used to return people who have been transfigured”. And then suddenly Adam was transported to the museum.

From that day on, he visited the museum every afternoon and pulled the arm next to the statue. Therefore, he had the chance to explore the wizarding world of Harry Potter in such a unique way! 

           The Magic Land

It is Emily. She doesn’t live in a magical town. She has a wery nice family but she isn’t happy. She dreams about magical world and animals. She’s going to go on a big trip with her dog Buddy.

She woke up at 3 a.m. and Buddy woke up too. She put some laundry in his backpack and then took some biscuits from the kitchen. She left the house quietly with Buddy. It was still dark so she decided to wait under a bridge near the house until daybreak. Noone was outside. She arrived under the bridge and sat on the ground. There was a stream flowing under the bridge. She heard a rustling sound near the stream. 

What was there? a snake, a cat or a child? 

She became restless. After a short time, a little boy with dirty hands and face appeared. He said hello and asked her what she was doing here.
