Sara and her mom were in the attic taking out some old stuff. Then, Sara found something.

Mom, I found something!

It was a really big and heavy crate.
I wonder what's in it?

Sara took a look in the crate.
Mom, I see something.

She took it out and it was a really cute teddy bear.
Its my old teddy when I was young. I was even younger than you.

Sara was surprised that the teddy bear used to be her mother's. She asked what she'd do with the teddy when she was younger.
What did you do with the teddy bear when you were younger?

The mom explained that when she was young, she'd treat the teddy bear like a baby. She used a pretend baby bottle so it can drink it. She called the bear Carrie.
Its time for your milk Carrie.

Her friend would usually come with her doll. They always played together.
She'd sleep with the teddy bear at nighttime. The teddy bear always.....

The mom stopped. Sara wanted to know what the bear did, but her mom didn't give her any answers. Sara's mom was acting suspicious and then she said asked if she could keep the bear.
Can I please keep your teddy bear?

The mom was surprised that Sara said that. After all, she's 12. She's a little bit too old for toys, but she allowed her to have it.
Sure you can. I can search for Carrie's bottle if you like.
Great. Thanks mom.

Sara rushed downstairs to her living. She put the teddy bear down and pulled out her phone from her pocket. She called her best friend Natasha.
Natasha, come over here ASAP. Its important.

After she finish making the call, she turned around to the teddy bear. She'd swore that it was closer before.... she just pushed that aside.
Wasn't the teddy bear closer to me before? Oh whatever.

Her friend came over really quick, since they're neighbors. The teddy bear was behind Sara's back.
Hi Sara. What did you want to tell me?

She showed the teddy bear to her friend. Natasha laughed so hard that she almost wanted to go to the ground.
Hahahahaha! That's what you wanted to show me? We're too old for stuff like that.
Natasha this is serious.

Sara explained that the teddy bear used to be her mom's and she's not telling her what the teddy bear does at night.
This teddy bear must be special.
The thing that will prove that it's special is if it can do my nails.

Suddenly, the teddy bear jumped out of Sara's arms and started talking.
I can do your nails if you like.
Aah!
Aah!

The girls kept on screaming. Sara calmed down a little.
You're.... alive?

The teddy bear turned around to face Sara and replied with a smile.
Yes. I'm alive.
Woah, that's cool.
Yeah, and a little bit creepy.

Sara couldn't believe. Her mom's old teddy bear was alive. Suddenly, they heard footsteps.
I think my moms coming.

It's Sally!
I found Carrie's milk bottle and what was that screaming for?
The mom came in the living room.

The teddy bear ran to the mom and lept into her arms.
Hi Carrie. It's a long time.

Sara could tell that Carrie was very happy to see her mom. She thought that Carrie was a cool bear.

Later that night, Sara got ready for bed. Carrie was sitting on her bed. Then, Sara asked Carrie a question.
Carrie, what did you do at night with my mom?

Carrie was quiet for a few seconds and then she giggled.
I'll show you. Lie down.

Sara was puzzled, but she lied down anyway with the teddy bear snuggled by her side. Soon, the bear started singing.
I have a lot of love in my heart, and because of you, that's why I got it from the start.

Sara started to feel really sleepy. She held the teddy bear tight as she closed her eyes and fell asleep.

The next day, it was dawn. As the sun rose, Sara woke up, since she's a morning person. She looked around. Carrie wasn't there.
