On June 29/2024 I visited Washington DC National Mall and Memorial Parks, includes more than a dozen units of the National Park System and more than 100 unique monuments and memorials.

The first place we went to when we arrived was the Washington Monument. The monument is made of marble, granite, sandstone, and steel and is 169 meters and 14 centimeters high. It was designed by Robert Mills, a prominent American architect of the 1840s.

Vietnam Women’s Memorial
“The emphasis of this tribute is centered on their emotions — their compassion, their anxiety, their fatigue, and above all, their dedication.” - Glenna Goodacre, sculptor of the Vietnam Women’s Memorial.
I also went to the Vietnam Women's Monument.

The National World War II Memorial honors the 16 million people who served as part of the U.S. armed forces during World War II, including more than 400,000 who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country. The memorial is located along the central vista of the National Mall, at the east end of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.
The World War II Memorial is free and open to the public 24 hours a day.

Then we climb many stands, that lead us to the statue of Abraham Lincoln.
It also has access for wheelchairs and baby strollers.

Finally we reached the statue of Abraham Lincoln.
"In this temple, as in the hearts of the people for whom he saved the Union, the memory of Abraham Lincoln is enshrined forever."
Beneath these words, the 16th President of the United States—the Great Emancipator and preserver of the nation during the Civil War—sits immortalized in marble
