The First Amendment protects several basic freedoms in the United States like freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, the right to assemble, and the right to petition the government.
A court case about the 1st amendment -Virgil v. School Board of Columbia County
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press."

The Second Amendment states that as an American citizen, you have the individual right to arm yourself. The amendment also firmly establishes that the government cannot infringe on that right!

Me! I know what the 4th amendment does... It Protects people from unreasonable searches and seizures by the government

I Learned in school today that you can't take the 5th Amendment on a spelling test
The Fifth Amendment breaks down into five rights or protections: the right to a jury trial when you're charged with a crime, protection against double jeopardy, protection against self-incrimination, the right to a fair trial, and protection against the taking of property by the government without compensation.


The 6th Amendment is the right too a fair trail
