Adam woke up one morning and went to the convenience store where he found a copy of the constitution. He was curious so he and his friends decided to read the first 10 amendments

The 1st one says I can say whatever I want!

The 2nd one says I can use guns!

Amendment 3 says soldiers can't live in my house!

Amendment 5 says I can't get in trouble for the same thing twice!

Amendment 6 says I can have someone try to help me when I get in trouble!

Amendment 4 says I can't be searched for no reason!

Amendment 8 says no weird punishments!

Amendment 7 says they can look in to what happened when I'm in trouble!

Amendment 10 says things not listed can be decided by the states!

Amendment 9 says all citizens have rights!

Hey the beginning of the Constitution is pretty neat! It talks about the ideas behind creating it!

Yea! That is called the preamble!

I heard that in some kinds of government, that people have to vote on EVERYTHING!

Wow! That's a lot of voting!

Yea, that is why we have a House of Representatives. This is where people represent their state and vote for their people! Lets go pay them a visit.

I think they are working on making a bill to become a law!
