It was 2003, my parents had two children but wanted one more to turn their family of 4 into a family of 5. 

After trying for awhile they decided they were content with a family of four since my older siblings were both very young and crazy. 

One day my mom just had a gut feeling she should grab a pregnancy test on her way out of the store.

And to somewhat of a surprise, she found out she was pregnant with me! They were now overjoyed they were going to be a family of 5.

Now the big question everyone had was if I was going to be a girl or boy. My parents already had one girl and one boy, so they were excited to see what the gender of their last child would be.

So, as the pregnancy went on they finally were able to know the gender.

Surprise it's a boy said the doctor!

They were overjoyed and excited. 

As the due date got closer they were waiting for my arrival.,

 But one day close to her due date, something felt off. This wasn't her first pregnancy nor first time going into labor. She wasn't sure if she should go to the doctors but ultimately decided to make a trip to the doctor. As soon as she was starting to get checked by the doctor the tone of the the doctors voice changed drastically.   

Immediately the doctor told my mom she needed to get to the hospital right now because my oxygen levels were drastically low and it could cause extreme brain damage and even death.
