Once upon a time, in the heart of a bustling metropolis, there lived a wealthy couple. For years, they had been unable to have children, and this saddened them deeply. One day, after a long wait, they finally had a daughter.

However, shortly after her birth, the wife's ruthless boss, Madame Gravelle, appeared with a terrible threat.Madame Gravelle knew a secret about the wife’s workplace, and in exchange for keeping it hidden, she demanded that the couple give her their newborn daughter. Otherwise, she would ruin them and take away their wealth. Helpless, the couple had no choice but to agree.

Gravelle took the baby girl and named her Rapunzel.Madame Gravelle raised Rapunzel in a high-tech skyscraper far away from the city. The building was so remote and fortified that no one could reach it.

All of the windows were sealed, and Rapunzel’s only connection to the outside world was through computer screens and the internet. Gravelle convinced Rapunzel that the outside world was full of dangers and that she was keeping her safe by never letting her leave.As the years passed, Rapunzel learned about the world through the internet. She took online courses and became knowledgeable in many areas, but she never had the chance to experience the real world.

Gravelle also noticed that Rapunzel’s hair grew rapidly, reaching down to her waist, even though she cut it frequently. Rapunzel couldn’t understand why, but she obeyed anyway.

One day, while browsing the internet, Rapunzel met a young man. His name was Alex, and he was a freelance software engineer living in the city. The two began talking on different platforms regularly. Alex quickly realized that Rapunzel was smart and creative, and he wanted to meet her in person. Rapunzel told him it was impossible, as she had never left the skyscraper where she lived.Alex was puzzled by this and decided to find her location. Rapunzel gave him her address, and when Alex arrived at the skyscraper, he was astonished. The building’s security measures were so tight that the only way in was through a glass room at the very top.

Then, he remembered something: Rapunzel’s unusually long hair.Following Alex’s instructions, Rapunzel let her hair down like a rope. Alex climbed up, using her hair to reach the top.

Finally, he witnessed Rapunzel’s isolated life. With Alex’s encouragement, Rapunzel gathered the courage to plan her escape from the tower.
