IC BONSEGNA-TONIOLO ITALIA

What shape does sound have? We built an edophone to demonstrate the effects of sound vibrations on matter. We sprinkle salt on the surface of the edophone. What happens? The sound of our voice produces vibrations on the film, which make the grains of salt “jump”.

Let's repeat the same experiment using acrylic paints and a speaker. We pour the colors on the film, turn up the speaker volume to the maximum and play our favorite song. The vibrations make the various colors bend and twist obtaining wonderful paintings!

Let's discover the true color of light with an experiment based on Isaac Newton's discoveries. White light is nothing more than the union of the colors of the rainbow! By quickly turning the colored disk we will see it white! We have discovered that white is therefore the union of all colors. The disk, by rotating, mixes the light reflected by the different colors, returning a whitish light. We therefore obtain the illusion that the colors tend to become white.
