My name is Monica. I am a seventh-grade girl at the gymnasium from the village Hîjdieni. My mother is a teacher, while my father works as a builder.
On the one hand, my Mom, teaches me the importance of learning, perseverance, and taking responsibility for my education. Every evening, I do my homework, knowing that this is the key to a brighter future.

On the other hand, my father who is a builder, emphasizes the importance of responsability and careful attention to details. I am fascinated by his work, as he carefully measures, cuts everything with precision . He often tells me , “Monica, just like I build a house, brick by brick, you must build your future step by step. It’s not easy, but if you work hard, it will be worth it.”
My dad is convinced of the importance of practical learning, where skills are gained through direct involvement and experience, rather than just through theory. He sometimes invites me to help him with small tasks, like measuring or holding tools, teaching me the value of hard work.

But it is not only about books and lessons. My parents have always encouraged me to become an independent girl. They motivate me to take responsibility for my choice, to solve problems, and learn from my mistakes.
“We can't always be there to help you ,” my mother always says. “You need to learn to spread your wings and fly!”

For two years in a row, I proudly held the title of the top student in the gymnasium.
I’m known for being disciplined, curious, and hardworking.

One day, I faced a big challenge: an upcoming international math competition. I had always done well in school, but this was different. It was a chance to compete with students from all over the country. Though nervous, I remembered my parents’ advice.
I knew that if I want to succeed, I had to take responsibility for my own preparation. Every day after school, I balanced my regular studies with extra math practice, organizing my time without needing my mother’s support.
