A lot of old human bones were found all over the world. Some bones were about 233,000 years old!


is for cavemen

Caveman is what all the people from the Stone Ages were called. They were called cavemen because most of them lived in caves.

is for domesticate


Cavemen needed to stop following the animals around so they came up with the idea of trapping their animals. After a while the animals changed and became domesticated.
is for evolution


Most people say that humans evolved from monkeys which could be true. After a while we evolved some more and came up with things like razors, combs, and cloths.

is for farming


Farming was the reason why paleolithic became neolithic. Some people were also subsistence farmers and only farmed enough for thereself. all of this was later known as the argiculture revalution. One thing that was bad though is they needed more people because there was more work needed.
is for government

The cavemen had sort of a government which was the oldest or strongest man was in charge. Otherwise the cavemen didn't have that much of a government because they just shared everything.

is for houses

During paliolithic times the people were nomads so when they built a house it was a small temparary house because they were constantly following their food. When neolithic times started most people stopped being nomads and built better and stronger houses.

is for ice age

There were 2 big ice ages during prehistory. During both of them the oceans parcilly froze and that is how the cavemen got to Australia, North America, and South America. These also were some huge push pull factors for the cavemen which made them have to adapt.

is for jaws

The cavemen used animal jaws as weapons to take down other animals.






is for kids

There were a lot of kids that were born in prehistory. All of them had to work to be able to stay. If they didn't work they were left behind.

is for leader

The leader of the group was aways the oldest or strongest male in the tribe. They were in charge of keeping the tribe safe and making sure everyone hunted, gathered, or did some other job that was needed.


is for migration








Migration is when the cavemen permanetly moved away from where they lived.
is for nomad

Nomads are people that are contantly moving from place to place to find new food or to just explore.



is for old

The stone age is very old! It happened thousands of years ago!

Pastoralism is a farmer that will follow and care for his animals for his whole life and eat their meat.
