Hi I'm Olivia, I have ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) which means my brain works a little differently to some other children. I'm great at maths and I love to learn new things.

I don't like to sit at my desk for too long.

I find it hard to have lots of friends all at the same time.

I am super helpful, I do lots of jobs around school for Miss Penny.

I am a great friend to Robert and Daisy.

I have lots of fun at Sunnyside primary school.  I love my classroom, my teacher Miss Penny and my two best friends Robert and Daisy.

There is lots of space in my classroom, there are areas to play and areas to relax. I love our class pet fish, I like to sit on the beanbag and watch them swim through the green plants.

Olivia likes to sit at the front of the classroom next to Robert and Daisy.

That's rite.... Sometimes I can hear lots of different noises all at once from around the classroom, even the quiet noises can sound loud and it stops me from being able to listen to Miss Penny or focus on my work. I like to sit at the front of class so I can see and hear Miss Penny properly!

Having my best friends Robert and Daisy on the same table helps me to feel relaxed.

Miss Penny always explains things slowly and clearly so that its easier for the children to learn, she also uses pictures and objects as part of her lessons.

My feet and legs can get fidgety and start tapping or banging on the table and my hands get sweaty.

I don't really like lessons that last a long time.

Sometimes I find it hard to sit still in my chair and listen to Miss Penny for a long time.

My brain starts thinking of lots of things  instead of focusing on task.

Miss Penny always makes sure there are fidget toys for Olivia to use while sitting at her table. Olivia also likes a wobble cushion and a kick band on her chair.
