Gen. 25: 19-34; Gen 27: 1-45
By: Cassie Cicarella, Lilly Telban, and Vivienne Maloof.

Once upon a time, an elder couple named Isaac and Rebekah lived. Rebekah was unable to have children, so she prayed to the lord.
Soon, she became pregnant, and God promised her offspring. He said that Jacob would be the chosen son.

Rebekah gave birth to twin boys, Esau and Jacob. Esau had hairy arms, and Jacob was characterized by his smooth arms. Jacob was favored by Rebekah, and Isaac favorited Esau.

Good Job, Jacob!

Can I have Dinner?

You must give me your birthright!

Rebekah wanted Jacob to get the firstborn rights. She tells him everything he must do, even if that means forcing Esau into giving him the birthright.

You must follow my instructions, Jacob!
As the boys continued to grow older, Isaac was planning to give Esau the firstborn blessing. Rebekah did not like this because she wanted Jacob to receive the blessing to fulfill God's Plan.

You must receive this blessing Jacob!

One night, while Esau is hunting, Rebekah prepares food for Jacob to give to his blind father to receive the blessing.
Rebekah wants Jacob to receive this blessing to fulfill God's plan.

Let me feel your arms to see if you are really Esau!
