Marie Antoinette was born on November 2, 1755, in Vienna, Austria.

She was born to Empress Maria Theresa and Holy Roman Emperor Francis I, making her the Archduchess of Austria.

In 1770. at the age of 14, Marie Antoinette is married to the future king of France, Louis XVI

The couple had marital problems as well as fertility problems, which led to public scrutiny of the crown

In 1778, Marie Antoinette would have her first child: a baby girl by the name of Marie-Therese. The couple would go on to have 3 other children as well

In the early 1780s, several affairs took place which would ruin the reputation of the Queen. First, her romantic affair with the diplomat Axel von Fersen. Most notably, the Affair of the Diamond Necklace.

On June 4, 1789, Louis-Joseph died of Tuberculosis.
