This book was written to help 7th grade students learn the subject of ratio and proportion in a more fun way. I wish you a pleasant reading :))

During his summer vacation, Ali visits his grandfather’s village. In the attic, he finds an old chest. Inside, there’s a map that says, "Solve the Secret of Ratio City!"

Ali asks his best friend Zeynep for help to decode the map. The map is full of mathematical ratios and symbols. Zeynep exclaims, "This looks like a puzzle!"

The map points toward a forest near the village. They pack food and water and embark on an adventure. Along the way, they encounter clues related to ratios.

In the forest, they find a stone with a question carved on it: "What is the ratio of 3 to 2?" Ali and Zeynep calculate the answer: "3/2 = 1.5." A hidden door in the stone opens, and they step inside.

Behind the door, they discover a city filled with mathematical symbols. The Guardian of Ratio City welcomes them and says, "To enter, you must solve three ratio riddles."

The first riddle is: "In a class, there are 12 boys and 8 girls. What is the ratio of boys to girls?" Zeynep quickly answers: "12/8 = 3/2." The Guardian nods in approval.

The second riddle is: "In a field, there are 50 apple trees and 25 pear trees. What is the ratio of apple trees to pear trees?" Ali answers: "50/25 = 2/1." Another door opens.

The third riddle is tricky: "A mixture contains 200 ml of water and 100 ml of sugar syrup. What is the ratio of water to the total mixture?" After calculating, they find the answer: "200/300 = 2/3."
