One day, there was a little girl 

cell that was born. She was 

born into a very well off family 

in a very crazy world. Her 

name is Belle.

Belle the cell started her first stage of 

life. In a couple of days her parents 

noticed that she had been growing, this 

means that she is entering the stage of 

Interphase. During Interphase, she will 

copy her DNA and grow in preparation 

for cellular division.

About the time she was three, she 

entered prophase. This is when her DNA 

condenses into a ball and the nuclear 

envelope dissolved. This means she lost 

about 10 pounds off of her tummy.

Now Belle the cell is 7 years old. She is 

entering the stage of Metaphase. At this 

time she begins to notice the change in her 

own body. In this stage of her life her 

spindle fibers attach to each other. They 

align perfectly to make her taller.

Now Belle is entering her freshman year at 

Cell Cycle High School. She is very insecure 

about herself. During this stage, her 

chromatid's separate to different sides of 

her cell. This makes her gain a few pounds 

and hates looking this way.
