Carter and Mickey had a big problem, they were going broke! Mickey had spent all their money on food and they were behind on rent.

Dang it Mickey!

But luckily, Mr. G brought them into Money & You and taught them lessons on how to properly manage their money!

First Mr. G explained what healthy spending habits are. He told them to create a budget!

DONT BE BROKE!

Then Mr. G taught them what investing is; putting your money into a market with the hope of earning more money with the risk.

You get rich off of investments, not just saving!

Then Carter asked what insurance is, Mr. G responded that "its a form of agreement between an a person or an insurance company to provide financial protection and navigate the risks associated with life.

Better to  be prepared than sorry! 

When Mickey receives his paycheck, he is devastated that he hasn't received the expected amount of money. He needed to pay off his debt for the food!

Then Mr. G explained taxes are a percentage what is taken out to fund the government, town and schools and along with much more when you make purchases on non-necessities or when you receive a paycheck.

Jimmy and Carter were devistated by this but understood and decided to go to financial counseling and make a debt management plan.
