It was the night of Halloween and all the lights were out. This one little cat was trying to decide if he should be out and about?

It was a full moon and it seemed very scary! He wanted to go trick or treating, but to go alone how dare he?

If he decided to go what is the worst that could happen? Maybe he would meet new friends. Maybe he would enjoy some candy! 

I am just a lonely black cat who has no friends. I really can't wait til the fun to begin. 

Maybe I would meet a dreamy princess and we would fly away to another nice town where we could play.

That would probably never happen and that is why I am so unhappy. Not even the birds want to talk to me. I'm just a lonely cat you see.

I hear the sounds of bats. Maybe they came to play. But even if they did I would just run them away!

Maybe I will go and bother Mr. Owl but when I asked him to play I was met with a scrowl. I think he had better things to do! Maybe I can play with you?

I'm really just as lonely as a cat can be! Even you don't want to play with me. I am really a great friend. You will see. Maybe you can come catch mice with me?
