TEACHERS: Rosa Giovanna Capristo (Italy) and

In a small village, surrounded by green mountains and sparkling rivers, was a group of children spending their days playing and exploring the surroundings.

One day, a foreign family came to the country, bringing a child named Amir.
Amir was shy and a little scared of the new reality, having left his native country for reasons that other children could not understand.

One morning at the "Fabiana Luzzi" park of Corigliano Rossano, Melania, and Andrea noticed Amir sitting alone on a bench. Cecilia and Sharon, the bravest of the group, approached him with a gentle smile. "Hi, do you want to play with us?" they asked enthusiastically.
Amir looked up and, seeing their sincere smile, nodded slowly. The other children (Francis, Mary Melina, Fatima, and Samuel) approached, presenting themselves and welcoming him into their group.

Soon, Amir started to feel at ease with his new friends. He played football with Gabriel and rode bikes with Mattia. Sometimes, he would stop with Laura under the shade of a large tree to tell stories. Amir told everyone about his adventures in his home country, charming his new friends with stories of colorful markets and endless deserts.
Despite the new friendship, not everyone in the village was so welcoming. A group of bullies, led by a boy named Tommaso, began to annoy Amir, targeting his background and accent.

One afternoon, at the exit of the Primary School "M. Amerise", while Amir was walking home, Tommaso and his friends surrounded him.
Angelo, who had noticed the scene, ran to call his friends. In a few minutes, Captain Pierpaolo with the whole group was there, ready to defend Amir.
