Alekos Fassianos (1935-2022) was a Greek painter and sculptor, known for his unique style that combines expressionism with Greek tradition. He was born in Athens and studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts (ASFA). His work includes paintings, drawings, and sculptures, with themes often drawn from Greek mythology and folk art. He has exhibited in many countries and is considered one of the most important figures in contemporary Greek art.
