Mother Duck and Little Blue Bird

On a beautiful spring morning a little blue egg 

began to wiggle and shake. It wiggled and 

bounced up; at that very moment a strong wind 

blew that little blue egg right out of its nest.

  Down

             Down

                        Down

                                   it fell.

Right into another nest.

This nest was no other than mother ducks 

nest.

Mother duck paid no attention to the 

rather small blue egg. She kept the egg 

warm alongside her own eggs.

When the sun became high in the sky and 

the day felt warmer, Mother ducks eggs 

began to hatch, and so did the little blue 

egg. 

That day there were 9 little ducklings. 

And...

Surprise a little blue bird!

Mother duck having a kind heart, decided 

to take care of the little blue bird as her 

own until she could find little blue birds 

real mother.

Once the ducklings were all dry, they 

were ready for a swim.  

But little blue bird does not swim like the 

ducklings do. One day little blue bird will 

be able to fly in the sky.

Mother duck understanding that little 

blue bird can not swim, had a very good 

idea that would allow little blue bird to 

participate with the ducklings in the 

water.

Mother duck asks little blue bird; "Would 

you like to ride on my back in the 

water?" "Do not worry." she says, "I will 

not allow you to fall into the water."

Little blue bird smiled and excitedly 

replied, "Yes! Yes I want to ride with 

you!"

Little blue bird climbed onto Mother 

ducks back; she then led her little 

ducklings into the pond.
