In April 2024, I embarked on an incredible adventure: a trip to Greece with Erasmus! I went with my best friend, Ainhoa, and a group of eight classmates.

We were excited to discover a new country, its culture and its people.

Our trip began with a five-hour flight, with a transfer in Turkey. Although it was long, the excitement of arriving in Greece made us forget about our tiredness.

When we landed in Athens, we found a city steeped in history and beauty. Its streets were lined with ancient buildings, statues, and impressive monuments.

To get around Athens, we used the metro, which is very similar to the one in Madrid. We took it to go out to dinner or explore new places. Each trip took us to a new corner to discover.

My Greek, Elizabeth, and her family were very kind and welcoming. From the first day, they made me feel at home, sharing their culture and traditions with me.

Greek food was one of my favorite parts of the trip. We tried a typical burrito-like dish filled with meat, vegetables, and sauce. It was delicious!
