On my 15th Birthday I had an amazing party.All of my 

friends showed up and my mom and dad got a band to 

play live! The party went pretty late and towards the 

end of it my best friend pulled me aside and asked, 

"Wanna try something?" 

I said yes, and she handed me a small tablet that looked 

sort of like a Sweet Tart. When she handed it to me I 

asked what it was. All she said was, 

"Just try it." 

So I did. It was ecstasy and after that I became 

addicted. 

After that first dose of ecstasy my grades went down the 

drain. When I wasn't on the drug, I was severely 

depressed and I barely wanted to leave my room. So I 

started missing school and trying to think of ways to get 

more of the drug without my parents knowing. No 

matter how much I hated depending on the drug, I 

needed it. I couldn't just stop, so I started taking smaller 

and smaller doses. I was trying to slowly come off of it. 

But that just made me even more depressed and it 

made me stop caring about school. So I kept missing it.
