Once upon a time there lived a young girl named Ella. Early in her life her mother had died. Her father
remarried to an ugly, selfish, old woman named Mildred who had a stepdaughter named Helga who was
equally ugly. Helga was overcome with envy when she saw how beautiful Ella was. Soon though Ella’s
father died of food poisoning. Neither her stepmother or sister valued education or nature like her
father had. Ella made a promise to herself that she would always value these things as long as she lived.

Helga was cruel to Ella. If they were at their lake house Cinderella had to sleep in the attic
by the chimney. Usually though the stepmother made her sleep in the ashes in the
basement where the mice scurried at night. Soon Ella became known as Cinderella. She
was a good friend of the mice.

Helga mocked her and made fun of her “Cinderella why are your clothes filthy?” ,she
cackled, “Oh yeah, I forgot you sleep with rats!”

One day a man in a suit knocked at the door and announced that Aaron Rodgers was hosting an after-
game party. Helga shrieked with excitement and immediately Started ordering Cinderella around,
“Find my green and gold clown wig, sew my jersey, find my face paint! Hurry up!”, she shrieked. “You
heard her!” Mildred yelled “Move you ungrateful slug” “Yes mother” said Cinderella sadly.

Cinderella begged Mildred to let her go to the party but her stepmother refused to allow her to go.
“No!” she shrieked, “absolutely not!”

When her sister and mother left she went down to the cellar and cried. the mice heard her and said,
“we’ll help you” “Oh thank you!” Cinderella cried happily “alu thia sairina” They chanted as they pulled
a green and gold outfit from thin air. “hyapat thia sairina” the mice chanted as they gave Cinderella a
pair of golden high heels. “Mire thia sairina” they chanted as they gave her a gold charm bracelet that
only fit her wrist. “Thank you!” exclaimed Cinderella. “Off you go Ella” they squeaked, “be home by
midnight!”

When she arrived at the party
everyone stopped and stared
including Aaron Rodgers himself.
Cinderella had lots of fun. At the
party she ate stollen and kielbasa.
The stepsister saw her but didn't
recognize her because she thought
Cinderella was at home and said to
herself “Who is she?!”

Soon it was midnight and Cinderella had to leave before the spell wore off. “Oh no!” she cried
frantically. As she ran past the bubbler she lost her gold charm bracelet.
