This is Jacob´s story, a child who lived in an 

imaginary world. 

Everything for him was a different universe.

He could make a planet from a room, 

he could make a spaceship from a 

chair, and everything for him was a 

game.    

One day his bed was a castle and other 

day it was a fortress

One day Jacob imagined his 

backyard was a jungle and he 

went inside a new   adventure. 

 He fought against his 

dog thinking it

 was a lion; he fought against a 

flower imagining it was a 

carnivorous 

plant. 

The problem was when his mother arrived and found 

everything in disorder, she said   “Jacob, go to organize 

your room and go to organize this and go to organize 

that” and with this, other adventure began. 

One day he decided to begin a space adventure, and 

he went up to the rooftop. On 

this side there were old things, a whole world to 

explore.

For him the wardrobe was a 

planet of Martians, a drawer was a spaceship enemy, 

and he decided to fly in the sofa 

thinking it was his spaceship for overcoming his 

enemies.

And ending this adventure, 

he began to organize again. And his mother said 

“Jacob, what are you doing? Come 

down here! Stop playing!”  

Jacob’s life at school wasn’t different. Jacob was a 

clever child, but for being distracted all the time he 

was failing, and his teachers said: “Jacob, pay 

attention and stop daydreaming!” But he ignored 

them, and he continued dreaming.
