Oiltown, Oliveston is the home to the largest farm
throughout the country.

Our farm is around 430 acres, about
the average size of a farm in the
United States. The size of this farm is
due to the available farmland within
the country which is also comparable
to the US.

Based on the vast area available,
commercial agriculture is practiced in
Oiltown. Machinery is used, and includes a
tractor, plow, seed drill, chaser bin, a drip
irrigation system and others. These types
of machines allow for mass production of a
type of crop. Or, in the irrigation system's
case, allows for many crops to be watered
at once.

This farm cultivates all organic crops. Since we are closely
connected with countries near the Mediterranean that eat
Mediterranean food, we believe in clean eating. Our
government has similar views as us as far as clean eating,
therefore they do provide subsidies.

Since Oliveston is not too large in size, we transport all of our
crops by truck. On average it takes about a day to a day and a
half to transport crops from one side of the country to the other.

Since our country as a whole is about clean
eating, the Oiltown farm does not have a
specific target consumer. We supply to
everyone in the country.

Potential problems with the farm could include finances in general.
Running an organic farm is not cheap and with subsidies at a smaller
amount than they could be, if we do not make enough one season
there is not much that we would be capable of doing. In order to solve
these problems the farm could invest in livestock instead of relying
solely on crops.

Our farm is located in the closest ring to
the city since it would fall in the Horticulture
category.
