 A long time ago in the Paleozoic era in the 

Phanerozoic eon there was a group of fish 

friends.   Their names were Coco, Ellie, 

Bob, Carl, and Charles.They lived right 

along the shore of the supercontinent 

Pangea. These friends loved to race and 

watch racing. They dreamed one day that 

at least one of them could race in the 

Seatona 500. 

The Seatona 500 is the biggest 

and most important race under 

the sea. Little did they know 

one day their dream would 

come true.

They were on their way to the 

races which they have once 

every two weeks so it was a 

common thing to go to.

On their way to the race Carl 

remembered that he went to a 

fortune teller and the fortune 

teller said, “Soon your dream 

will become reality.”   He told 

his friends, but they did not 

believe it. So they just kept 

swimming to the race and 

forgot about it.

When they got there, they saw 

that one of the racers was 

injured and they needed   a 

replacement.   Yet nobody knew 

how to race a seahorse. Nobody 

except Carl.

He stepped up to the challenge 

and got on the horse.   With all 

of them wishing him luck, he 

headed to the pit..

Never being in a real race, he 

was very nervous but also 

very excited as he took off. He 

waited on the flagger to wave 

the flag.
