She was born on the 12th of June, 1929 in
Germany. Anne Frank is remembered by her diary
that she wrote during the Holocaust. She got that
diary on her 13th birthday. She was also Jewish so
it was very difficult for her and her family. Her
family and another family went into hiding, in a
house in Amsterdam, from the German soldiers .
Her parents names are Edith and Otto Frank. Anne
Frank's sister's name is Margot Frank. Sadly, Anne
Frank dies in a concentration camp with her
mother and sister. Anne's father was the only
person who survived the Holocaust. When the
diary was published, everybody thought it was a
very moving piece of literature. This is because in
the diary, it explains all the horrors she faced and
they were all real.

Bep was born on the 5th of July, 1919. Many
people called her Elli. When she turned 28, she
started to work Otto. When the Nazis started
to kidnap Jewish people, she was one of the
few people that helped the Franks while they
were in hiding. She brought food and other
items that were needed. Anne Frank
mentioned Bep in her diary a few times. Anne
said that Bep brought her flowers, fruits, and
photographs. Bep has always been a great
help to the Frank family.

Genocide is the excessive prosecution of a
national, racial, religious, or cultural group.
The most known genocide is the Holocaust.
In this particular event, Adolf Hitler
executed millions of Jewish people.
Genocide is a very despicable event. The
sad thing is that it is still happening today.

Adolf Hitler was born in 1889 and died in 1945.
He was a German dictator from 1933 through
1945. He took over Germany when it was still
recovering from a horrid war. He promised that
he would help Germany and go into a Golden
Age. In the end, he executed millions of Jews
and innocent civilians. Hitler is said to die by
killing himself, although many people did not
that that did justice from all the lives he took
away from those people.
