Hello! I'm Kaycia the Ballerina.   There are a lot 

of things about being a ballerina I'm excited to 

tell you about!

There is a special outfit you get to wear as a 

ballerina, it is called a tutu. A tutu is used as a 

costume during performances.   It is like a 

fluffy skirt! It is beautiful.

There are special shoes called ballet shoes, 

too.   These shoes help you dance!

Ballerinas wear their hair 

up high in ballet buns.  

We wear our hair up so 

when we turn and twirl it 

does not get in the way.

At ballet class, I get to see all of my friends! We 

are all ballerinas. We dance together and have so 

much fun!
