Hi, I'm Wanda and I'm going to 

teach you about conserving water.

A shower uses 10 to 25 gallons 

of water while a bath takes up to 

70 gallons. Instead of taking 

baths, try to take a 5 minute 

shower,so you aren't using as 

much water.

When brushing your teeth, turn 

the water off while brushing, 

don't leave the water running 

the whole time. This can save 

up to 8 gallons of water. 

When you help mom or dad 

wash dishes, don't leave the 

water running. Only turn the 

water on when you have to.

When you wash your hands, 

turn the water off while you 

are scrubbing your hands with  

the soap.

Wash your bike or family 

car with a bucket and 

sponge instead of with a 

hose to save up to 6 

gallons of water per 

minute.
