One day I went for a picnic with my family in a desert
located near Sadikabad. We started playing "Freeze
Target" and enjoyed a lot. Then mum called us to have
some snacks. We were eating our yummy bread rolls
when I saw some poor people living in small, dirty
temporary huts. They were wearing dirty clothes with
no shoes. My mother told me that these people were
called nomads which meant people moving from place
to place.
We decided to have some chat with those people and
find out more about them. When we went close I saw
a young girl carrying a heavy pot filled with water. I
ran towards her to offer my help.

I tried to help her but she replied
softly, "No, I'm OK, I am habitual
to do this task."

I gave her a sweet smile and
helped her to carry that pot.
Meanwhile some of the other
innocent children gathered around
us.

When I went further I saw a girl collecting pieces of a broken
ceramic bowl.

The pieces of bowl were very sharp
and hurt her. I helped that small
girl.

Then I looked at some other
children playing in the heaps of
garbage. That place was full of
bad smell and germs.

I moved forward and peeped into
their poor huts. They were made
up of skins on a frame of wood and
covered with grass.

I visited all the places where they
spend their life. There was no
electricity, no supply of running
water in their huts. Life was just a
misery there.

I felt sad when I saw their way of
living. Then I saw some women
who were doing embroidery on
some colourful dresses. I talked to
them and was surprised to see
their skill and talent.
