The Pythagorean Theorem is used in math to
find the length of the Hypotenuse or Legs of a
triangle. Mathamaticians use the equation,
(a*a)+(b*b)=(c*c). Lets say you have a
triangle, take the legs, which are 6 and 9 and
square them.

We need to take 6*6=36 and 9*9=81 and add
them together, 36+81=107. 107=c*c so we
need to square root it.

On the sandy floors of the ocean, Theorem
sways on the kelp groves. Theorem is no ordinary
seahorse, he can solve math equations to help
the ocean animals. The problem he now faces is
how to avoid, the constent threat of Sharko, the
grumpy shark.

All of the sea creatures hide in the kelp,
except for Ozzie the Sea Turtle, who is
protected from Sharko. While defending
the rest of the animals think of a plan to
keep themselves safe from Sharko. They
had come up with the plan that if the build
a wall that was shaped like a triangle they
could defeat Sharko.

They figured out that if they put two triangle
shaped figured as a wall that they could get a
sturdy and functional wall built but until then
they were unseen. No one except for Sharko
and the Lonely Fish. The team figured that
they needed to first make a complete triangle.
They figured a length of 2 Sea Ripples would
be long enough, and a height of 1 Sea Wave.

They began there work early in the day so that
they could get it done by the end of 1 Sea
Light. They wondered if a triangle with lengths
of 1, 2, and 3 would make a triangle.
"It doesn't make a triangle" they all agreed.
And it does not form a right triangle. What
about with the lengths of 6, 8, and 10. They
did the math. (6*6)+(8*8)=100, and 10*10=100,
this means that they had the correct side
lengths.

With all of the walls built the Ocean
Animals would be safe from any harm. They
had successfully built a strong rock wall
with the help of Theorem. Sharko then
realized that he was defeated so he
headed off to find a new neighborhood to
join.
