Greyson and Henry Hugglebear were the best of friends. 

They met the very first day that Greyson was born in the 

Shawnee Mission Birth Center. 

The world was a big new and scary place, so Greyson held 

onto Henry through everything. 

They were inseparable. They took every nap together, ate 

every meal side by side and took every drive in the car 

together until Greyson didn't cry anymore. 

 Henry was so happy when he was with Greyson, 

they were best buddies and Henry loved him so 

much.

But one day, 

Mommy, 

Greyson and 

Henry Hugglebear 

took a ride to a 

place called 

daycare.  

Mommy told 

Henry that 

Greyson would be 

at daycare all day, 

and Henry would 

see him when 

they picked him 

up at that 

evening.

"Well, what's a bear to do?" Henry thought. 

And then Henry Hugglebear had an 

awesome idea!

"I'll go to work with Mommy!" he said. 

So while Mommy was driving he quietly 

climbed into her backpack and said to 

himself "Henry Hugglebear is going on 

an adventure!" 

When Mommy got to her work door, Henry 

Hugglebear held her badge out of her backpack 

and scanned her in. He was so excited to see 

where Mommy worked every day. 

When Mommy and Henry arrived at Mommy's 

desk, Mommy grabbed a cup of coffee. 

Henry thought, "I'd like some coffee too!" So he 

picked up a big paper cup and filled it up with warm 

coffee. Then he added sugar and cream like Mommy 

did. He tasted it. 

"This is terrible!" Henry thought. "I better go find some 

milk!" 

After he found some milk, he went back to the desk. 

Henry Hugglebear decided to do exactly what Mommy did. So, he 

checked his calendar.
