In a faraway kingdom there was a village and in that
village there was a forest bigger than the country
France. The forest was magical and had strange
creatures that talked, danced and sang like humans.
There were also little men and women with pointy, red
hats. As well as there were huge, tall giants who did
nothing but sleep. In that forest lived a girl named
Lostiella. Lostiella was adopted by the fairies and the
fairies cherished Lostiella dearly. But despite that she
was very poor and often lived in an old rusted cabin.

One night Lostiella was fast asleep, when she dreamed
about an old wise wizard who said,
"Lostiella tomorrow you must leave the forest and help the
poor. They are waiting and counting on you. On your way
you must defeat the evil, mean witch."
"But how am i meant to help the poor whilst i am poor
myself?" said Lostiella with a concerning sigh.
"Don't worry" cried the wise wizard and with that Lostiella
woke up. Lostiella tried to make sense out of her dream but
found it impossible that she eventually went back to sleep.

In the morning Lostiella woke up and went to her
fairy god parents to get permission to leave the
forest. After she had explained why she was
leaving and said good bye to everyone, she left for
the village with a few loaves of bread.
"Good bye everyone" she said as she exited the
forest.
All of her friends and family were crying as they
knew that the outside world was a very big step and
danger and darkness lurked everywhere.

As she was heading for the village, she wondered how she
could help the poor. She couldn't think of anything. She
had to do it as this was her mission and she must complete
it and listen to the wise wizard's advice. What will happen
if she couldn't defeat the dark evil witch? As she was
questioning herself her eyes fixed on a double story house.
The door to the house hung open. She wondered who the
house belonged to. Apparently it belonged to the wealthiest
woman in the...wait a minute thought Lostiella, the house
was not in the village nor near the forest but somewhere
dry and it only meant the desert!

However, there was a pond and some animals were drinking
from it. The sky seemed very odd as the sun and the moon
were both up in the sky. Lostiella became thirsty so she
stepped into the house and heard a woman's voice,
"Artist, paint me a picture of myself and if i am satisfied i
will pay you more money than you have ever had."
"Of course my Lady Retaw you will love the picture" said
the artist.
Lostiella saw the artist painting and something clicked into
her mind,
"I could be an artist" she whispered to herself.

Lady Retaw heard Lostiella's whisper and said,
"Anyone could be an artist if the person just steps
out of my house."
Lostiella was very kind, so she quickly apologized
before a guard came in sight. The guard pushed
Lostiella out of the house and warned her to never
come again for Lady Retaw does not like strangers.

Lostiella was very upset and tried to think of something
else to make her happy. She couldn't think of anything
except to go to the safe, sandy beach and start her
drawing lessons. As she made her way to the beach, she
picked up a stick to replace it with a paint brush.
Lostiella found a quiet space and started drawing some
chickens as they were her favourite animal. She was
enjoying her drawing and the quiet space when an eagle
started circling around her. Lostiella became frightened
as the eagle aimed for her drawing.

She ran and jumped behind a rock to hide herself
but she landed on someone and it took her a
moment to realize who it was. It was Prince
Edward, but Lostiella had no interest in him until
she realized she had messed up his drawing.
"I am sorry" she began to apologize.
But Prince Edward just shook his head and said,
"Don't apologize, it was just a drawing."
"I haven't met anyone today who has been nice,
thank you for being nice to me" said Lostiella.

Prince Edward blushed but quickly took Lostiella's
hand and helped her out of the rocks to see her
drawing. Lostiella's drawing seemed alive which was
why the eagle had aimed for it and landed with its
head buried in the sand and its body sticking out.
Lostiella began to cry as she had never done
anything to hurt the little creature. Prince Edward
held Lostiella close to his body and kissed her.
Lostiella closed her eyes to this magic moment, as
the sun provided a lovely sunset.

Once they had both finished kissing, Lostiella looked up at
the sky and realized that the sky was getting dark so she
said,
"I have to go as it is getting dark."
Prince Edward did not want Lostiella to leave but
understood that she had to go and all he said was,
"I hope to see you again"
Lostiella thought for a moment then her heart froze, she
feared that she will never be able to see Prince Edward
again. She liked Prince Edward's company. Lostiella ran
before Prince Edward had the chance to say good bye.

Lostiella couldn't breathe anymore because of all the
running and thinking. How was she going to get home into
the huge forest? The huge forest was thousands of
kilometres away and nothing was safe. Lostiella stopped
and whispered quietly
"Princess Silver Light."
The whole forest lit up with silver light and the princess
appeared. Princes Silver Light was the most gorgeous girl
any prince could ask for. All of the Princes' of the land
would easily fall in love with her. But she could not speak.

She never spoke but instead communicated with her
mind which was often difficult to understand. Princess
Silver Light led the way until Lostiella was home and
she thanked her. After Princess Silver Light vanished
Lostiella walked into her cabin. Something was
bothering Lostiella and it was not the cold wind
rushing through the broken windows. She went next to
the window and looked at the half moon and wished,
"I wish i had a brush to paint anything i want to with"

Then the half-moon grew larger and larger until the old
wise wizard appeared into her room and spoke softly,
"You wished for a brush? But this is more than a normal
brush so use it carefully."
The wise wizard ran his hands through his smooth, white
long beard and got out a brush. Lostiella took the brush
and thanked the wise wizard. In a blink the old wizard
disappeared and Lostiella was left with only a brush.
Lostiella was dazed from all the excitement that she
thought that it was only a dream.

She took hold of the paint brush and started to
paint a rooster on the wall. As soon as she finished
her painting the rooster popped out of the wall and
made funny noises. Lostiella was so amazed that she
had trouble getting to sleep.

Lady Retaw in her rich house was walking down
underground where she had set up her talking mirror. She
was chuckling when she said,
"Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the girl named Lostiella
that is my concern out of all?"
"My lady Retaw, she is the queen of the fairies and has a
heart pure of gold" said the mirror confidently.
"Well, i am going to need her golden heart" said Lady
Retaw disgustingly and she began to chuckle evilly.

The next day Lostiella got up early in the morning and went
to the farm for a walk with her special magical brush. While
walking down the wheat field she realized that a few
farmers had trouble tilling the land. Lostiella took hold of
the brush and painted a cow on the farmer's house wall.
Once she was finished a strong cow popped out of the wall
and started walking down to the farmers. The farmers
realized that Lostiella had helped them so they thanked her.
Lostiella felt grateful and turned around to continue walking
but a huge and tall guard was standing in front of her that
she had to gulp a few times.
