Once upon a time, there was a 

happy family, a caring mother, 

a hard-working father and a 

crying baby girl, named Jess.  

She grew up to be a kind child 

but she was a hard child to 

raise. She wouldn't eat or 

sleep, always crying at night 

and, she HATED going outside. 

Then, one day, on Jess's 7th 

birthday, her mother told Jess 

that she is going to have a 

little sister and Jess was 

excited because they could 

play together all the time. 

But, when Jess’s little sister 

came home from the hospital, 

she felt jealous and angry at 

her parents. 

Jess was angry because her 

parents would only take care of 

her little sister, Rose, and 

never pay attention to Jess.

Jess was angry and she wanted 

revenge on her little sister, 

Rose. Everyday, she would hit 

her, pull her, slap her, kick her 

to get her mother's attention.
