After ballet class, Nina came home and 

finished her dinner like a good girl. After 

helping her mom wash the dishes, Nina's mom 

said, "Nina today you have to sleep in your 

room." Nina said with a smile on her face, 

"Okay mom, I'm a big girl now!"

"I'm so tired" said Nina while rubbing her eyes. 

Slowly she went to the bathroom to change 

her clothes and brush her teeth. After she was 

done she yelled "Goodnight Mommy!" and fell 

asleep.

Nina woke up in the middle of the night and 

saw a very bright light underneath her bed. 

She got scared because she was always scared 

of the monsters under the bed! Nina got up 

quickly and looked underneath her bed.

As she peered underneath her bed, she was 

shocked. Tiny alien-like creatures surrounded 

her in all directions. "WOW!" yelled Nina in 

excitement. "Hi Nina, how are you?" one voice 

said. Before Nina could respond, two creatures 

grabbed her and suddenly she was transported 

into a whole other world. 

"Where am I?" asked Nina excitedly. "You're in 

Lorland!" replied the pink monster. Nina looked 

around and saw no one. "Where is everyone ?" 

she asked. The pink monster smiled and said 

"They're all waiting for you". 

"First solve my riddle" said the pink monster. 

Nina loved riddles ,she was always the first 

one to answer in her class. "Okay" replied 

Nina. "I have four legs. I like to play. I like to 

smell things. I can wag my tail.I am a..." Nina 

thought and thought and finally yelled out the 

answer " A dog!"

The pink monster took her down the street 

where she met a boy named Jordan. Jordan 

asked "Did you meet the princess yet?". "The 

princess?" replied Nina. "Yes, the princess. Let 

me tell you a riddle and if you solve it you'll be 

one step closer to meeting her!" said Jordan. 

Nina was so excited to solve the riddle and 

meet the princess.
