On Sunday April 9th, 2017, I turn 15 years old. I go to a party with my closest friends. At this party, we all inject ourselves with heroin. We didn't know the affects of heroin or how bad of a decision it was to take it. I did not know I would be addicted.

In June 2020, instead of graduating from New Fairfield High School, I am in rehab. My family is struggling to pay for me to stay in. It is my third time in rehab. My friends haven't come to visit me in 6 months. I think our friendship is broken.

After college, I go on to be a teacher at Yale University. I am fired my second year. I came to class high, and explained to my students how high I was. One of my students told the dean, and he fired me right away.
