After going through extreme heat and pressure, I turn into slate. Slate is a metamorphic rock. So I'm now a metamorphic rock.

After I became a metamorphic rock, I begin to melt. After I melt, I became magma.
Imagine how hot it would have to be to melt a rock. It would have to be 1,000 degrees Celsius or 2,192 degrees Fahrenheit to make me melt.
