and all I eat is applesauce.
This is Martin Middlemix
and all he eats are cooked fish sticks.

We do NOT like strawberry jam.
We will NOT eat a slice of ham.
I do not kid, I promise you,
we've never slurped a sip of stew.

Just put away that peanut butter.
We'll just stare and stomp and mutter.
Next we'll SCREAM, then rave, then rant.
Please, please put away that chocolate ant!

There is NO way to make us chew
on cantaloupe or honeydew.
We will not eat a peach, or pear,
or plum, or grape, or nectarine.
There is no food that we have seen
to make us want to change our minds,
not even pasta of all kinds;
not ravioli, rigatoni, tortellini,
fettuccine, manicotti,
or linguine!

there is nothing you could broil,
there is nothing you could roast,
there is nothing you could toast,
to make me change my point of view
and Martin feels the same way, too...
