Once upon a time there was a ship and the captain of this ship was Odysseus. Odysseus and his crew were trying to sail back home.

Earlier that day, there had been a storm that threw them off course so they decided to row to the nearest island.

Once they arrived at the island, Odysseus took his strongest men to go exploring and to find supplies.

While exploring they came upon a mysterious cave. Odysseus decided to go inside.

When they walked in, there was a big ugly ogre, his name was Cyclops.

Cyclops was a nasty creature that was easily angered. Odysseus did not know this so he asked Cyclops if he had any food, supplies, or direction to get back home.

Cyclops got very mad so he kept Odysseus and his crew in his cave and threatened to eat them.
