It was February 9th. The day of the Meiosis and Mitosis field trip and it was going to be lit. The class was so excited to class because they had never heard about Mitosis or Meiosis. But just like every student that ever went to school they loved to learn new things.

What did one cell say to his sister when she stepped on her toe? My Toe Sis!!!

When they arrive at the factory the instructor tries to break the ice with a joke. It did not go over well so they continued on into the factory where they would explain Meiosis and Mitosis. He explains that Mitosis is asexual reproduction and Meiosis sexual reproduction.

"This is the Mitosis section" he explains, "And the first part of this 4 Phase process is Prophase. This is when the cell duplicates DNA and move things so the cell can divide.

This section of the Mitosis factory is called the Metaphase This is when all Chromosomes line up along the equator of the cell and spindle fibers attach to both side of the chromosomes.

"What are Chromosomes?" one of the students asks.

"Oh what they don't teach you in public schools" the instructor thought before he answered

"Chromosomes carry the genetic information that make us who we are. Us humans have 46, half from our mother and half from our father. Each one of those are called gametes."

This section is know as Anaphase; half of each chromosome is taken to each side of the cell.
