Timmy was a young boy playing kickball with his friend Bobby after school.

When they were done playing, Timmy invited Bobby to have a snack with him.

Bobby told Timmy he was sick, and to tell his mom to make sure he didn't also get sick. This upset Timmy.

Timmy told his mom what happened, and she said he didn't seem sick. Timmy hoped that was true.

Later that day, Timmy told his mom he felt chest pain and having trouble breathing. His mom took him to the doctor.

When they got to the doctor, The doctor let Timmy and his mother know that he got to the doctor just on time. The doctor told Timmy that he was infected with Streptococcus Pneumonia and that it was caused by a bacteria he got from his friend.

The doctor asked Timmy what signs he felt of this disease, and Timmy said his chest was hurting and it was difficult to breath. The doctor said these symptoms are common before the disease gets too bad, and that he could've had problems eating or drinking if they didn't go to the doctor or he could've quit breathing and possibly died.
