Our Natural Resources

Trees are a natural resource. If we do not replant trees, we will run out of them. Animals need trees for shelter and food.

Solar energy is a natural resource. This comes from the sun. Plants and animals need the sun to grow and survive.

Rocks and minerals are natural resources. Land gives plants and animals a place to live.

We need to take care of our environment so we can protect our natural resources.

Water is a natural resource. We must protect it so we can have clean water to drink. Animals and plants need water to live.

Land is a natural resource. We can take care of our land by recycling. If we don't recycle we could run out of healthy land.

Air is a natural resource. All living things need air to breathe. We must keep our air clean and not create pollution.
