It was a bright and sunny day. Stephanie, who was  also  known as Stephi was waiting patiently for her business  to come rolling in . However , after waiting for a few hours, nothing happened. 

''Let's go!'' urged Nate as Stephi pulled her bike out from her house.

''Race you there !''Stephi challenged Nate as they began cycling as fast as lightning.

Out of a sudden, Stephi pulled her brakes . ''Look at that duck in the lake ,''She exclaimed. ''There's some inky stuff on it's feathers ...I think that's oil.

''Let's sent it to the Wild Life Rescue Centre,''Nate suggested as they carefully lifted the duck into Stephi's  jacket.

When they reached the Wild Life Rescue Centre , the staff brought them to a room . ''How may I help you ?'' asked a lady politely. ''Could you help us remove these inky stuff from this poor duck?'' chorused Stephi and Nate. ''Sure!'' the lady replied as she brought them to a table .

''Miss, is these oil on the ducks feathers ?''

''Yes ,it is oil from vehicles but it is illegal to drive near the lake.''

With that ,they left the duck safely in the lady's arms and went off .

''Nate ,we have got a mystery in  our hands ,''Stephi said  in a very serious tone .

''We'll meet up tomorrow at eight in the morning with your binoculars at the same place we were .''

'' Sure ,see you !'' Nate replied, excited.

''Hi Nate ! ''exclaimed  Stephi holding on to her camera and binoculars. ''Hi Steph,''Nate replied gleefully .''Follow me, I have found a stake-out .''

They began capturing and spoting  ,trying to find strange things but nothing happened .

After a few hours , still nothing happened.

''I give up ! '' Nate finally said as he can't wait anymore .''You do it on your on , Steph !''

Nate walked off as fast as a cheetar.
