Katniss Everdeen is the main character of the movie and book. She is a girl who's father died from a mining accident. She leaned everything she knows from him. Katniss volunteered to go into the games, so her little sister wouldn't have to. Katniss is known as the "Girl on Fire", and her stylist brings this to life.

Peeta Mallark

Peeta Mallark is the son of a baker. He learns and knows incredible things that can help him in the arena. Peeta loves Katniss, and would do anything for her. One day, when Peeta and Katniss were young, Katniss and her family were starving and Peeta burnt bread on purpose to give to Katniss. Peeta is incredibly sweet, and protects "his" girl.
