Once upon a time there was a young deer named Ella.

One day Ella and her best friend Kevin were out playing in the forest.

Ella and Kevin wandered away from the rest of the herd.

Ella and Kevin met a fox named Bandit and a blue bird named Birdie. What they didn't know was that Bandit was sneaky and mean.

Bandit soon convinced Ella that to become best friends Ella had to prove her loyalty to him. Bandit told Ella to steal honey from Ed the bear.

Bandit hadn't had any honey in a long time and wanted some very badly.

Ella and Kevin left to go find the cave that Ed the bear lives in. Soon they were in a part of the forest they had never been in before.

After a while Ella and Kevin come across the cave of the bear.

Ella and Kevin silently crept into the bear's cave. Ed the Bear was sound asleep.

Ella and Kevin silently sneaked out of the cave, while giant Ed the Bear remained sound asleep.

Ella and Kevin softly rolled the honeypot out of the cave, being careful not to wake the bear.

This doesn't feel right, maybe we should talk to your Ma.

But on the way back to Bandit and Birdie, Kevin said something that had been on his mind.

Kevin had been suspicious of Bandit and his intentions.

So before going back to see Bandit, Ella and Kevin went back to the herd and spoke to Ma.

Stealing is wrong, Ella. You must learn to think for yourself and listen to your own conscience, not to what other people tell you.

Ma told Ella that what she had done was wrong and that she must bring the honey back to Ed.

On their way back to the bear cave, Ella and Kevin ran into Bandit and Birdie again.

They explained the lesson that Ma had taught them to Bandit, but Bandit didn't listen. All Bandit wanted was the honey. He soon became angry.
