During the hot summer, Sandy the Sandhill Crane migrated 500 miles north to Nebraska from Oklahoma.

Once Sandy landed in a wonderful marsh in Nebraska, she found a baby sandhill crane called Kunigundy. Kunigundy wanted to know all about the trip north.

Kunigundy and his sister Tildy waited until after feeding time for Sandy to tell her Migration Story.
"And as we continued our journey, we flew over so many things! Oh the view!" Sandy exclaimed as she relived the most wonderful moments of her life.

"We started in Oklahoma." Sandy whispered to Kunigundy and Tildy who were ogling at Sandy.

"When we took off, we were all happy to leave."

"As we continued the journey, we flew over the most amazing things!" Sandy exclaimed as she relived the most wonderful moments in her life.
"Like Oklahoma City!"
6
"And the beautiful Turner Falls!" Sandy exclaimed as she described the place to the excited chicks.
7
"We even stopped at the Robbers Cave State Park!" Sandy told them. "It was so beautiful!"
