Hi! My name is Bertha and I'm a bird that loves to travel.

Me and all the other birds love the warm weather. That's why you see us more in the summer than in the winter.

Just like your grandparents, I like to travel places south, like Florida, because they are nice and warm. I make sure I leave in the fall so I have time to fly south before the cold winter.

When we travel long distance at the same time each season and eventually back north to our homes, it's called migration. When we migrate, we migrate together.
