For many years people have belived that wolves are dangerous. Stories such as the Threee Litte Pigs and Little Red Riding Hood have portayed wolves as bad guys. But, in reality they are not. In fact, the gray wolf is nesessarry for our ecosystem.

Gray wolves look like a German sheperd. But, it has longer muzzles, legs, paws, and teeth.T he colors of its fur can range from white, brown, gray, and mosly black. Most wolves have yellow eyes and weigh about 50 to 130 pounds. Their heighit is about 26 to 36 inches tall and males are usually larger.

Gray wolves live in the bigest areas around the world. Gray wolves can live in deserts, forests, mountians, tundras, and plains. They also live in the snow where it is cold like in Canada.
