Chapter 1

drake and zuza were prepared for the new baby.

" dear, I am worried the baby will not turn out good." said zuza. " its fine honey. don't worry." said drake. " mom hows it going?" asked annabell. " not to good." said zuza. " leave your mother alone annabell. don't you have some claws to sharpen?" said drake. anna bell looks at her claws." no they are sharp enough to rip a rabbit." said annabell. " then go hunt!" said drake firmly.

annabell ran off and soon zack walked in. " dad? may I have a word with you?" asked zack. " yes. whats wrong?" asked drake. " my fur ripped." said zack. " hmm, that's pretty bad." said drake. " go to the shelter. the animals there might help you." zack ran out of the den. " hun! I feel scared!" said zuza.

Chapter 2

zuza was nursing the new cub while drake was keeping the kids from coming to close to their mother. " mom I would hurt it! I wanna kiss it!" said annabell. " kissing babies is gross!" said Zach. "babies are delecite. stay back. you might make it cry!" said zuza. " mom its my baby too!" said annabell. " only your BABY sister!" said zuza." kids! go to your rooms! now! RAAOOR!" said drake. the kids when up the hill to there den rooms. " *sigh* kids are hard." said zuza. the baby started to cry. zuza tried everything she could to help it but it would not stop. she finally felt the babys paws.

hot as fire. " the baby must be sick! we can do nothing!" said zuza. " yeah we can, lets take her to the shelter." said drake. they got to the shelter and put the baby down. " hello mam. can I help you?" said a atendent. " yes. my baby is sick. I need her to get better!" said zuza. the atendent picked up the baby and put it inside a room. shuffle shuffle. after an hour the atendent came out with the baby. " she has softpaw." said the atendent. " SOFTPAW?!?!?!" growled zuza. " yes." said the atendent. ( softpaw in this world is swelling paws that bleed and may cause unable to walk. plus additional loss of appatite and colds.)
